Dell BIOS Password Removal

Dell D610 BIOS password

Hi! My name is Lukasz Hanik and I'm from Poland. Recently I've got notebook (Dell Latitude D610) from my company to work at home. I've a wifi network with neighbours and I'd like to connect this machine to network via 802.11g. But there is disabled wirelless card in the BIOS and there is also password preventing changes in BIOS. I called Dell Poland today but the want 35$ for unlock access to BIOS. I've tried to use Paragon33's method but have no access to other boot device except HDD. And I can't make HDD bootable cause there are applications and data from my company which I can't just erase by formatting drive. So could You help me with this problem? I would be grateful...

Fn+F2 doesn't enable wireless?

If you have a spare 2.5" HDD, you can swap that in and boot off of it instead...

You sure you have no ability to create a bootable floppy, CDROM, or USB storage device?

Fn+F2 normally enable wireless but only if it's allowed in the last group of options in BIOS - 'Wirelless'. Unfortunately my setting there is 'Off' and I can't change it because of lock.

This is laptop from company - I haven't got spare 2.5" HDD cause I have never need it.

I can create bootable floppy, CD or USB - but I can't boot from it. Everything except HDD is blocked in BIOS and using Boot Menu (F12 during start) there is also no other choice except hard disk.

I really tried to do this without interrupt You but I can't. That is why I'm asking for help with BIOS password..

This only works as long as the main admin password is not set, just the config passwords.

Is the main admin password set, if not set it, power off and turn it on and when you get the grey screen enter the password you set, then hold down CTRL and press enter 3 times, this will then boot the laptop up and will remove the passwords on the BIOS.

And it doesn't work on all BIOS's

Regards

Thanks for reply. I've just tried to do this, but it's impossible cause after hold down CTRL and pressing enter ONCE, grey screen disappears and operating system is being load. So unfortunately it doesn't work on my BIOS :(

I get bjamy7am entering BYUSU**-D35B, which should be correct. Type bjamy7am in exactly, hold down the Ctrl key, and press enter 3 times.

this sucks

I have just recently come across a Dell latitude cpx. I am trying to go in and see what it has on it, but as soon as it comes up, it is asking for a password. I have tried plugging ini an external floppy to boot from a dos disk, but it is not allowing me to go past the screen that pops up. It says from the dell screen to press f2 to enter setup, but when i do that, it gives me the same screen. PLEASE someone help!!!!!!!!!

What does that screen say about the Laptop exactly (This Computer System ???????-???? is protected by etc. etc.) If you have a Digital Camera, send a pic to email removed Otherwise, send exactly what is represented by the question marks to me, and these are case sensitive.

I entered BYUSU**-D35B I have a Latitude CS and an Inspiron 3700 that both still had the -D35B Service Tag and Password, and that I cracked with this generator using these techniques. This is using version 2.20 of the password generator.

Dell CPI Bios Password

Well, I know this is the one millioneth person to ask help on resetting a dell bios password. My son gave me this Latitude CPI that his high school friend traded him with and I think he got the raw end.
Anyway, yes it won't boot up with out a admin password. I tried the programs out there Latutide.exe, it gave me a password but it did not work no matter what configuration I tried it in.
If there is a genius that can help I would be appreciative. It is in good condition and I hate to have to tear it apart to do that thing with shorting out the chip.
My service tag #53938
I was given a password of AO9Amm69 by the latitude.exe program.
Thanks if you can be of assistance.
