Dell BIOS password removal

ok guys. here my claim. i can remove the bios password from all new Dell notebooks. all details via ICQ.

the thing is, that the in new Dell notebooks the password stored in the EC/KBC chip. the shorting method is useless because there is no eeprom on the mobo. the following notebooks: inspiron 640m, inspiron 6400,all xps are WITHOUT eeprom.

i found a chip on the dell Latitude d620 underneath i took some pictures of it

25P80VG
GHABE V5
CHN 610B

any1 know if this is the shortening chip? any suggestions of which leg is what?

Service Tag: GB075B1
Express Service Code: 35493978781
When the gray screen comes up it tells me: #GB075B1-595B
Revision on motherboard: Rev 1.0(A00)
Boot Screen: Revision A02
Motherboard: XD29

25p80vg - is the serial data flash. the notebook bios stored in this chip. don't do shorting with it!

Hi Guys, As above i got a Dell Latitude D620, have dissassembled & discovered that I have a 25P80VG EEPROM.

Also that it is NOT advisable to try and erase this ROM.

Service Tag ends in 595B so the password generators wont work.

Just to clarify, do i have a doorstop, or is the last chance to plead to the Godly Rustam to see if he can generate me an Admin Pass?

WereWolfie619, the 25p80vg is NOT eeprom! it's a serial data flash, the notebook bios stored in this chip. if you "short" it - you'll destroy your MB!

I was just wondering, seeing as the asset tag ends in 595B, so the password generator will not work, what my options are?

Is there any other way to reset the admin password or get the admin password for these boards?

just old one of shorting and just work for the older laptops! that's all,

currently no free soultions, only is to prove your ownership to dell.
But quick searching on the net, give me a some ways to get the master password. From $5 to $50 on ebay, it show the weak security of DELL's bios due to a some different persons already have a password generator. Hopefully only me have such generator also for hdd so far to prevent cheap and fast discover of business and private secrets

not sure abour this. i tried to reflash the bios chip with the bios without password. still doesn't work. the algorithm, i suspect, stored in the KBC flash.

i don't think the Master password erases the hdd password. hdd pass coded by the ATA standarts and protocols and this action aren't connected with certain types of notebooks. the only thing that's changed - is the HDD Master pass, so you can't erase it with the standart ATA command erase on. but also there's another method to unlock the HDD and this methode connected with HDD service area modules editing

why do you need a service tag password if you have the PW Generator. you are charging 50euro for the passwords link removedfor yourself. rustam_ should not do it in my opinion. but of course its up to HIM not to ME

yes you do deserve to make money alot of people have there own ways you have yours but rustam was everyones free source on hear he has now reappeared on the forum and might possibaly help people again
