does anyone know if you can put bigger than a 40 gb hdd in a dell latitude d600 laptop.

all i am asking is if i can put a 160 gb hdd in a dell latitude d600, it it compatible

If the new hdd your putting in the laptop is the same size as the one currently in your laptop, then yes you should be fine to upgrade. It also has to be either SATA or ATA (depends on what your laptop supports)
