Dell Trouble (Again).

Hello!

I am new to the forums and I joined cause I figured one of the many clever tech heads out there could help me out with a problem.

Basically every time I put a DVD ROM (In this case Half Life 2) into the drive I get a big blue screen coming up which says

'we have closed to prevent a serious error'

There is no way out of this screen and I can't close it with Alt and F4.

Basically it blames the fault on a thing called 'tfsnys.sys'.

To add to the troubles the Disk drive won't respond or open so the only real option is to hold the power button until close down.

Please Help! I need to play this!

Update:

Its not cause I have a bad Half Life Disk either because the same thing has happened with Unreal. Plus my mate gets the same problem on his Dell.

I've never heard of such a file. A quick search on google yields no results either. Sure that's the right file name?
