Donald Trump tells Apple to "get rid" of diversity programs after shareholders back them

No, and no one said that.

Your opinions are wrong and the word you say make you seem stupid.

Also how you keep making things up to make yourself the victim even tho you went on a racist rant when no one else did.
But you were the first one to call racism, I didn't. I'm actively asking for people to stop deciding what is racist for me and how deciding what is racist for me causes more harm than good. DEI had the opposite of the intended effect and it probably set actual hardworking black people back another 10 years

I haven't said a single racist or sexist thing. Typical Maga, can't stick to reality for even a short time
You are though with that thought that color and sex is best over merit, that is the point of DEI. Sad you can't see that. You are the one that came off implying that some one (me in this instance) is "maga" just because I don't agree with your thinking. You can't get your way so you just turn to name calling and insults.

DEI hires exclude people of different color and sex. What is so hard to see about this?

Biden is on record saying he was going to pick a black female for supreme court judge. That alone disqualifies anyone that isn't "black" or "female"; hence why DEI is sexist and racist.

Pure made up nonsense that we can clearly see because everything said here is still here.

Professional victim.

Provide evidence or shut up.

Just block and report that toxic troll. Blocked him a couple of months ago when he was blatantly homophobic/transphobic. Not sure why is he not banned yet

so my first hand experience growing up in the hood and what I was upagainst to get out of it is made to nonsense?

I'm sorry that the real world doesn't fit your liberal narrative. But you made my argument for me. A man of color says DEI takes away from all the hardworking that differentiates him from the non hardworking people of color and you say I'm playing the victim.

He's not banned because his toxic comment spamming is good for the site. I believe he has a paid account, and he's in the top 1% of frequent posters. I agree everything he says is somewhere between mildly ignorant and pure rage bait.

I seriously doubt that you are truthfully black because your account activities are exactly like those Twitter accounts white magas made to pretend to be black and spam Maga talking points. That is exactly what you do here.

I am not claiming it was helpful, nor am I being toxic. I am claiming there is zero real evidence that it has ever been harmful.
So if we introduce a program that half the population (or possibly more) hates… and we can’t prove that it’s been helpful… do we really need evidence to remove it?
Isn’t the fact of arguments like this one that it needs to be scrapped?
If you really think DEI is bad, provide evidence.
There can never be empirical evidence of a policy being bad until decades pass… but the simple polarization of society because of it already seems ample evidence that it hasn’t worked as intended.

In regard to The Patriot Act... that's like asking "How is patriotism bad?"

BTW... the "E" doesn't stand for equality (I assume you meant that when you wrote "equally"). It stands for equity. These are very different concepts. If DEI actually protected equality, I'd be all for it.
It appears that you have no understanding of what you're actually saying about yourself. Let me spell it out for you:

Equality means everyone is treated the same exact way, regardless of differences. Equity means everyone is provided with what they need to succeed.

So I understand that you're all for equality in treatment as long as you're not helping others, right?

DEI is bad for everyone, people need to stop protecting it because Trump says it's bad.

DEI attempts to solve a real problem. People tend to hire those they feel comfortable with, not those who are necessarily good at their jobs. This normally means people who are like the recruiters in some ways (gender, colour, attitude, physical abilities, ...). This is a bias which has nothing to do with merit. DEI attempts to combat this bias by forcing recruiters to recruit more varied people.

That people look down at you as a DEI hire isn't because DEI is bad, it's because right wing propaganda has made "DEI hire" equal to "unqualified". That's not what DEI is about. DEI hires are still (supposed to be) totally qualified for the job. It's just that from all the people who pass the qualification tests, the people from marginal groups are given a higher chance to get hired, so as to avoid the "bro hire" natural tendency.

And sure, DEI might not work perfectly, but that's still the idea behind it. The fact that even left wing people use "DEI hire" to refer to unqualified people just shows how well right wing propaganda worked.

DEI has been around for a long time. No one really cared until magas made it a political issue to get support from racists.

Your second statement is 100% wrong and is so nonsensical that it doesn't need a serious reply.

People are polarized because it's been made into a political issue by a man trying to be king. Not because it's a real issue that caused real problems.

The only real issue DEI has faced is political backlash from Maga.

DEI is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

This. 100% this.

That is completely different because it was an actual government act.and named specifically to mislead the public.

Absolutely a false comparison.
What does "actual government act" have to do with anything at all? You should never judge any program or initiative by its name alone. One can try to accomplish a thing while going about it in entirely the wrong way.

Oh, so black people never had issues getting hired as easily as white people do huh?

They really need to ban you here. This sites comment section would be a lot less stupid. When someone posts a real factual argument, you have no real reply so you just spam the same BS over and over.
No, I said I had to work twice as hard to get the same job that white people needed to get. Are you intentional ignoring what I said because it's inconvenient?

It's just what you people say instead of saying the n-word, since that would get you in trouble.

DEI has been around for a long time. No one really cared until magas made it a political issue to get support from racists.

Your crazy is showing.

Man everything is racist and homophobic and...just insert some kind of bigotry.
Freaking ridiculous....people can disagree without being bigots. This nutty behavior is exactly why the democratic part is on life support. People are tired of the demonization of everyone who sees things differently than the people obsessed with injustice. Seriously grow the &^%$ up.

They can, but no matter how many times I ask for real evidence to support your ignorant anti-DEI stance, no one provides any.

I'm not sure what to say here about this person but his discourse sure reminds me of Stephen, the character played by Samuel Jackson in Django Unchained.
