Whenever I insert a DVD into my drive (its a CD-RW/DVD drive) a window pops up and asks me what I want to launch this with (thats not the problem). About 5 seconds after that, no matter what even if I dont touch anything, my monitor turns off, then back on but the screen is black. The little light goes from green then to orange then back over and over again. I am forced to restart my computer. Ive tried everything I could think of to fix this. New codecs, doing a system restore and uninstalling my media players. But when I boot up Knoppix this doesnt happen. I can go in and see the files on the disc without a problem. How do I fix this?
