Former intelligence official claims US has retrieved partially and fully intact craft...

Why it matters: The New York Times published a bombshell story in late 2017 detailing the existence of a program within the US government that investigated reports of unidentified flying objects. Many viewed it as a watershed moment that led to some pretty incredible revelations, and we're now on the cusp of another that – if true – would be the biggest story in human history.

According to a former high-ranking intelligence official, the US government, its allies, and defense contractors have retrieved partially and fully intact exotic vehicles that have either landed or crashed. The craft are described as non-human in origin.

David Charles Grusch is the 36-year-old Air Force veteran that came forward with the stunning claim this week. The admission came as part of an exclusive report from The Debrief that was penned by Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal, two of the three journalists that wrote the landmark NY Times story more than five years ago.

The intelligence officer turned whistleblower has provided Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) with a considerable amount of classified data on the subject of covert programs. Grusch also filed a complaint with the ICIG alleging months of retaliation and reprisals relating to disclosing information. In July 2022, the ICIG found the complaint to be "credible and urgent."

From 2019 – 2021, Grusch served as the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) representative to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, which was formally created in the summer of 2020 by the Department of Defense to "improve its understanding of, and gain insight into, the nature and origins of UAPs."

In a sit-down interview with investigative journalist Ross Coulthart, Grusch claimed the UAP Task Force was refused access to a broad crash retrieval program. A small snippet of the interview recently aired on NewsNation, but according to Coulthart, he spoke with Grusch for over seven hours and will have the full rights to share the entire interview later this week.

Grusch left the government on April 7 of this year to "advance government accountability through public awareness." Interestingly enough, Grusch also submitted the information he shared with The Debrief to the Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review at the Department of Defense and was given the green light to speak publicly.

In an effort to cover its bases, The Debrief has published an extensive fact-checking Q&A with co-founder and investigator Tim McMillan covering the many steps it took to verify as much information about Grusch as possible (background checking, speaking with colleagues, that sort of thing).

The Debrief also spoke with several other former and current intelligence officials that vouched for Grusch.

Karl E. Nell, a now-retired Army Colonel that served as the Army's liaison for the UAP Task Force from 2021-2022 and worked alongside Grusch, said, "His assertion concerning the existence of a terrestrial arms race occurring sub-rosa over the past eighty years focused on reverse engineering technologies of unknown origin is fundamentally correct, as is the indisputable realization that at least some of these technologies of unknown origin derive from non-human intelligence."

What has been shared thus far barely scratches the surface. Grusch alleges multiple government agencies have been nesting "legacy programs" within existing special and controlled access programs to avoid detection from oversight authorities. If true, it'd open a whole can of worms involving illegal dealings with contractors at the very least.

Grusch also asserts that, "When you recover something that's either landed or crashed, sometimes you encounter dead pilots. Believe it or not, as fantastical as that sounds, it's true."

Permalink to story.

This is minblowing and also a great opportunity for "great scientific discoveries and inventions".
Like the "invention" of transistor right on time with the Roswell incident, for the "connoisseurs".
If proved with more evidence, this will also means the end of the already broken patents system.
Ha, ha, this means that US is for ETs like China, with all of these reverse engineering.
Though all of this is still a big IF, until will be officially acknowledge by more governs.

"Has the government been lying all along?"

Yes they have - 100%.

The late Art Bell had interviewed one Col. Philip J. Corso US Army formerly Chief Foreign Technology Division of the United States Department of Defense.

Now in contrast with another regular in the show also from the US Army one Maj. Ed Dames - Corso was an intel officer and had held many intel posts prior to his ultimate posting at the Dept of Defense and he was also I feel 100% credible.

Corso had said exactly the same things this "whistleblower" is saying now. He also cited proof and published a book just 1 year before he died. That was ca 1997.

I am asbolutely confident that Corso spoke and wrote the truth as he understood it.

I heard Corso speaking - he reminded me of WWII vintage American heroes the kind that aren't around anymore. Corso is buried at Arlington National Cemetary.

This is news everywhere right now, so no - it's not TS being conspiracy theorists.

Someone sometime ago made the term Conspiracy Theory, to mean, BS. Someone has a theory about a conspiracy / cover up of some interesting news it is dismissed, rather than looked into. Hate to say it, but people who do ask questions about the BS spouted to us by our governments, are not crazy Flat Earthers...

They are tin foil hat wearing, moonshine swigging conspiracy theorists. They seen the lights and felt the probes.

"The US government, its allies, and defense contractors have retrieved partially and fully intact exotic vehicles"

Come on, give me a break. Not just the US government, but its allies and defense contractors all knew about this and they *ALL* somehow managed to keep it a secret? They can't even keep basic stuff secret, but they kept THIS a secret? Please. Not only that, it's multiple "exotic" vehicles, both partially and fully intact. Yeah, right. If you believe any of this nonsense then you're nuttier than rat droppings in a Snickers factory.

So its pure disinformation, then - I.e. a non-story. The first question is how well the military padded this clown's retirement to get him to make a fool of himself. The second question is what their trying to distract us from.

The better question is what are they trying to distract you from? If they spent 70 years denying the existence, if they're allowing him to spill the beans, then there must be something else they don't want you to pay attention to.
Trust random internet guy to take the tinfoil hat nonsense to a whole new level. It's conspiracy within a conspiracy! Dun-dun-DUNNN!

David Charles Grusch, a 36-year-old Air Farts veteran and expert liar. Just kidding, he's no expert liar, even children can tell he is lying in that video interview. I have never seen someone shake his head in negation so vehemently as Mr. David Charles when he was stating "Naturally, when you recover something that's either landed or crashed. Sometimes you encounter dead pilots and believe it or not, as fantastical as that sounds, it's true.'

The part I 100% believe given his previous positions is that he was made aware of government programs [doing whatever] that were required to be disclosed to congressional oversight, but were not.

He does not even claim to have seen any alien craft himself, but meanwhile if he has seen and has turned over more mundane documentation like program names, where they fit relative to other programs, their leadership and personnel, budget information, etc. -- all of that seems like the kind of evidence that could be used more routinely by earthly investigators to prove disclosure violations. If those programs aren't recovering alien craft maybe congress would like to know what they are doing with the money.

I am still pissed the NSA lied to congress in full public open testimony and got away with it. I'm hoping eventually some member of congress will get pissed off enough about provably having being lied to do something about it.

Actually, and as reasonable as that sounds, about that same group -- totaling tens of thousands of personnel and hundreds of billions of dollars in budget -- kept the scope & details of the NSA-led mass electronic surveillance secret for a couple decades or longer. Sure there were lots of whispers and rumors, but no cold hard facts you could show to a skeptic with their head in the sand until finally Snowden was willing to risk everything to disclose (a subset) of the facts. The programs were pooh-poohed even as I believe the EFF tried helping the AT&T whistle blower who testified under oath on the location and workings of the secret room in the SF switching station that cloned and forwarded all network traffic to the NSA. Details were out there, it's just each one was dismissed as uncorroborated.

So, what we're saying is that a non-human species created space ships that can break the speed of light, travelled the universe looking for life elsewhere (they couldn't have seen us as our light/signals haven't travelled that far yet - light event horizon), found us and thought, let's hide our ships so we can study humans. If they're that advanced they wouldn't need to study us.
But, it is nice to know their faster than light engineers/flight crew can still crash into our planet at slow speed LOL

You added a bunch of your own made up details there. This source is testifying that we have non-human craft. He went out of his way to say that spacecraft may be the wrong word. The actual legislation targets "transmedium" vehicles (as in both under water and in air) which is a weird word for a legislator to make up on their own unless maybe someone told them what they should be asking about.

I'm much more convinced about military non-disclosure to congress (of something/anything), vs. actual alien craft. But your disbelief that other species would be probing/mapping/studying the entire universe seems misplaced to me. We as a species are in our infancy for space travel and we already have multiple probes traveling the reachable areas. Imagine the alien version of Google, 50,000 years into its universe street photos program; they're probably sending their version of cheap probes everywhere. That's what our species will do for sure given enough time to develop our capabilities that far.

You assume they traveled faster than light. Maybe they lived a long time or maybe they were in suspended animation or maybe their voyage was multi-generational or maybe not. Who knows. ;)

Or its a fake crash to test human responses - to gauge if we are ready for contact yet. What do we do with the technology - do we share and improve the world, or do we try to make weapons from it.

Or they only came to earth because of a technical problem (but were on their way somewhere else). Just like cars have to pull over on a highway... Its rare, but it does happen that technology fails and you need to stop somewhere close.

Show us dem aliens!
