Hello,
This is a really rubbish and simple question, but I cant seem to find an answer.
I have a Gigabyte 7N400 Pro2 rev.1 MOBO - as you may have guessed from the title.
I have a strip of 512MB RAM - PC3200 DDR.
Now, my question:
Is the reason I put PC3200 in there because it only takes 3200, or can I put in anything I like...? or even different types togther?
ie 512 PC3200 and 512 PC2700
or does it all have to be the same..... and more importantly - what can this motherboard take?
There are 4 DIMM slots.
please dont reply and tell me to look in the manual - i dont have it and the manual section on the Gigabyte website says "Coming Soon" which is obviously never gonna happen as this mobo is old and has since been forgotten about.
either that, or im stuck in a time paradox
someone PLEASE help me
