Graphics card error?

I've been playing the same games for a long time on my dimension e310 desktop. recently however the games that have run fine before are doing things like show white squares where buttons are and not displaying interactive content. is my graphics card corrupt or damaged or is it simply time to get a quad core with a x16 pci express port?

Which card are you using? Have you recently updated your graphics drivers?

im using an Intel GMA 950 integrated card. no not unless its been done automatically.

Sounds like you might need to invest in a new graphics card. If you have any PCI or AGP slots on your motherboard you could use those or if you want to use the newer PCI express technology you'd need a new mobo, cpu, ram etc... it's up to you.
