HDD problems

I had a problem with my Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB disk, Vista would not boot up and I managed to install it again, but both partitions were gone...
I found this thread with HDD programs and I downloaded one from Seagate site for DOS check up...
It found 65 errors during first 3% of scan and at the end, it repaired them... Then I ran the first 3% again and it didn't find any errors...
So, I want to ask is the solution to the problem, I mean, should I expect it to happen again...since I lost some important things today...
I bought the disk some 20 days ago...so I still have the warranty

The Drive Diagnostic Test came up with faults?
I say return under warranty. (probably has bad spots on the drive)

Well, I'll give it one more chance, since it showed that it has repaired all the errors, and now I got 3526 HDD points in PC Mark Vantage, I'll see if it will crash or make problems again...

Works with Seagate drives only

Is there any other that could show me the physical state of the disk?

Yes but Seagate for Seagate drives is the best.
