Help!...bios update....did it to myself

15 mo. old BIOS on new machine,trying to gain control fanspeed,OC.
So I installed last BIOS . Now get screen checking ports,says "AHCI bios not installed" continues to next screen,says "AA number not programmed on system,press enter to continue"
Now get l-o-o-ng Intel bios screen(press F2)
I downloaded,installed again,tried Intel sites,cannot find. Possible AA number could be mobo no.,don't know how to enter. Please help,fans slow,temps hi......Don

I can't see how you could have a bios fault the post a new (current thread) with "Vista-can't remove program!"

Unless they are two different computers, even though your specs don't change!

The concern is that if they are two different computers (highly likely) members tend to look at your system specs (for Bios revisions and drivers, so forth) but this may be in vein, as the threads don't seem to match up.

What type of shop are you running?
