Need Help putting together a Good Gaming rig

Hi I'm new to this forum and thought this would be the best place to ask for tips on what would be best. I just got back into the PC gaming scene and actually want my computer to be able to play them.(Crysis,Cod4, Wow,etc.) Now i have about 2,000 to spend on it if needed. A couple of things i use My Hdtv as a monitor, would also love to get some use from my Onkyo Ht-S6100, and was think about going quad instead of dual core.

With that kind of budget, especially since you have a home theater and hdtv to hook up to, I'd just start with a new machine. You can easily set up a gaming rig to handle just about everything with 2 grand these days. I'm also recommending this because of your RAM max.
