Ok, when i click ie and go to my homepage, an adultfriendfinder ad popsup with it. Sometimes it doesnt come up all the way, it just pops and closes. Sometimes it does open all the way. I get rid of this and it keeps coming back. I delete the spyware and re-run spyware programs and it tests clean, then it comes back later, like it has a backdoor or something. I also get a (not enough virtual memory popup) on the bottom right of my computer. This then goes on to say that some programs requesting memory may not get it and windows is expanding vm. Sometimes i cant really open anything for a few minutes. Here is the highjackthis log. Thanks for all of your help.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

You`re not running any antivirus or firewall software. Get some ASAP. The free AVG antivirus and either the free Zonalarm or free Kerio firewall programmes are very good. Google for these.

Go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.

Post a fresh HJT log as a .txt attachment into this thread, only after doing the above.

Regards Howard

Yes I am running spyware, firewall and antivirus programs. I have spybot, ewido, ad-aware se and a security sweet with another spyware program, antivirus and a firewall. here is the hjt log.

Download the Pocket Killbox programme from HERE. Extract it but don`t run it yet.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name. See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

SK9910DM.EXE

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad).Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Run the killbox.exe file. When it loads type the full path to the file you would like to delete in the field and check the delete file on reboot button. press the Delete File button (looks like a red circle with a white X). It will prompt you to reboot, select no until you have finished inputting the files you want to delete, only then allow it to reboot and hopefully your files will now be deleted.

These are the filepaths you need to enter into killbox.

C:\WINNT\System32\SK9910DM.EXE
C:\WINNT\System32\vbsys2.dll

Once your system has rebooted, turn system restore back on.

Post a fresh HJT log and let me know how your system is running.

Have HJT fix this entry.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

Other than that your HJT log is clean.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.

Slow computer!

Tech,

My computer has become very slow and sometimes unresponsive. Many times when I am opening a web page it does not open all the way. My task manager says the PF is through the roof, this has just recently become a problem. I have not seen any pop-ups or anything of this nature. I have Ewido, Ad-aware, Spybot, Ez armor virus, Ez pest patrol (spyware), and EZ firewall. I have attached my hjt. Thank you in advance.

Threads merged.

Your HJT log is clean.

However, you should have HJT fix the following.

O16 - DPF: {01113300-3E00-11D2-8470-0060089874ED} (Support.com Configuration Class) - http://activation.rr.com/install/downloads/tgctlcm.cab

O16 - DPF: {511073AD-BE56-4D43-AE68-93390514385E} (TechToolsActivex.TechTools) - hcp://system/TechTools.CAB

O16 - DPF: {739E8D90-2F4C-43AD-A1B8-66C356FCEA35} (RunExeActiveX.RunExe) - hcp://system/RunExeActiveX.CAB

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Run Ewido and disable the background guard. There`s no need to have it running and it`ll just take system resources.

You might want to take a look at this thread HERE. It`ll show you how to speed up your system.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.
