Yep I have the same problem, puter won't hibernate.

Yes its a laptop. When I run Webroot spy sweeper laptop will not go into standbye or hibernate. When I shutdown webroot it will go into standbye or hibernate.
I tried this several times and finally narrowed down to webroot spy sweeper. You know anything about webroot?
