How to use modem/router on bridge mode

Hello!
Today I'm here to ask a question that might be simple, but I'm getting a bit of trouble with it.
I have a modem/router combo, given by my ISP, and I need to set it to bridge mode.
I tried it the simple way, by accessing its configuration page at 192.168.0.1.
Everything worked very well, except the wifi.
The problem is: Wifi is kind of limited, I can connect my cell phone, but I can't connect bigger devices, such as a computer, or a Smart TV.
Is there any way I can use the modem on bridge mode and keep the wifi working?

Bridge mode is intended to be used when you have another router;

  • MODEM ===(bridged)===your router(with wifi) - - - your devices
If you are attempting something like

  • MODEM(bridged)(wifi) ....
Then you're headed in the wrong direction. Return the Modem to Infrastructure Mode;
  • Modem(wifi) - - - your devices

Thank you for the help, so what I should do is connect my modem to another router via a LAN cable, right?
Maybe a TP-Link router should do.

Just plug a slot from the modem into the WAN side of the router - - done!
