you have to hook up an electronic device and read the chip using SDA and SCL and GND pins.

Yes I would like to obtain a password for my HP Omnibook 900, I provided the hash code 12429 and HP did not supply a password. I did not have a service agreement.so no password. I realize this is a old notebook but I hoped to get some use out of it.

Still trying

Hi all!

I am still trying. I tried all of the passwords given me from Champ with no luck. I even plugged in an external keyboard, again no luck. I don't have a drive lock as i have another HP 6000 and the drive will boot in there fine.

Any other ideas? Can I short out pins on an HP omnibook 6000?

Thanks!

Dell Latitude D600

I have this laptop, Dell Latitude D600, with a grey-screen password. I've been reading about the paperclip-method, but the HDD also has a password and I would like to be able to use the HDD when done. As I see it, the paperclip is the very last solution so I thought I'd try this first.

Service Tag: 9Y7TZ0(zero)J-595B

I tried the Dell Master_Password.exe yesterday with no luck.

I really hope someone here can help.
THX in advance.

Dell Master_Password.exe works for D35b Tags only.
Some more info at 'link'

I know!
But there was this guy Rustam_, who knew how to make master passwords for the -595B service tags, aswell!

you should read the "how to make a good post" section first

else you better look in ebay or search google for the pay-per-password sites. there is no free solution available for newer models since rustam_ disappeared unless you have an older dell laptop. then you might be able to short the password chip.

hi everyone, I hope some one will help me or direct me to the right place or link, I need the :
BIOS PASSWORD or break it, for a loptop DELL INSPIRON 1300

guys, would you please be a little more exact. what do you mean by "BIOS PASSWORD"?

there are more than just one password that can be set and there are different approaches to get rid of it.
I understand bios password as the password which enables/disables making changes inside the bios - this one is also called bios configuration password oder bios administration password and would not prevent you from using the laptop.
the other one would be the system password which does not allow to use the laptop but not necessarily prevents changes to the bios settings.
