first of all no need to apologize. you could edit the post and just remove the email.
second is I remember some post of guys who felt ripped off by this zakri or razik or whatever they call him. so not sure if he really is "the man"?!
plus you're not the first one who came here and made some 5 posts advertising for him. maybe you are this guy - who knows? for me its sort of strange and if I were in need of a password I would be careful and not listening to ads unless they were posted by a well known tech who is an active and reliable member.
sorry, don't take this personal but there is too much rip-off going on and its hard to believe everything....

peace!

he has the right to mention his name but no the email adresse as the reglement says!!!
also im not agree with you (MSCRX),,he is telling the truth, this guy is serious, maybe he had some troubles in the past with some members here, but as he explained to me that he did contacte every of them and gave him his password! otherwise we could find
thoes guy claiming agianst him right now, isn't true??
no one is forced to buy solution from zakri... i think if someguys gives positives feedback for him this way it should be so as interested members can go to the right place.

guys, I was posting my opinion whether you agree or not.
it is up to everyone to do whatever he/she wants!

and btw it is against the forum rules to make paid offers!
ok, you don't make the offer but you keep on advertising for one. thats not any better!

now, lets stop this useless discussion because it doesn't help.
tell that zarik razik guy that hes more than welcome to come here and share knowledge but not to make money!

Transfer of Ownership - dell 595b, HDD pass

UHH wrong Raybay!!!! Your WRONG! hehe, I completed the transfer of ownership on saturday night and was supposed to wait for an email to confirm completion, up to three weeks. Well I got antsy and called tech support to try to speed up process yesterday, Tuesday and they informed me the change had gone through already!!! 2 days later. Tech support said they say 3 weeks for worst case scenario, but guys go to support.dell.com click on custumer service on left then on ownership transfer. If you do not know previous owner information type unknown. Took me two days for the master password AND HDD password. Better than working with the asshol*s at spunlockdotcom

Your WRONG raybay

Plus I got the warranty till 2009. If any of you guys need help unlocking a service tag with a 595b tag, feel free to contact me at email removed- that's my spam email account, so I don't care if i receive spam. Service tags with d35b should be pretty straightforward.

wrong wrong!!!!, you v got a good luck, why cause the laptop that you were seeking for ownerchip was not stolen or exactly was not declared stolen bye his owner,,, if it was so, you could never got the ownerchip but the police behind you,..
your lucky,
i advise people here if they want to mak an ownership of thier machines must first be sure if this dell is not red listed in DELL inc database ,you must simply phone the service center and and tell the that you wanna buy a laptop from a guy that you dont exactly know if he is the ligitim owner.....then you can get the sutable answer. after you can decide

Wow a workaround to see if the laptop you own is stolen or not
Although this may work, I'm not sure if it's the best advice for anyone holding stolen goods.

Here's the possible future result, you knew it was stolen (by contacting Dell with bogus information) and then decided not to let them know.

Lets just hope your poor child's laptop doesn't get stolen, from a person with a mind such as yours.

you missunderstanding me...plz read carefully. i do not encorage stolen laptop i just try to help people find issues....why the hell some members here throw quik judgements ?

I agree with that the "defence reply issue" from members can be annoying

But the real concern is for others reading this, now and into the future.
TechSpot would never condone this behaviour so this must be stated.

Please continue to provide help though, within the TOC

OK IM IN!!!!!! FINALLY!!! all i did was call dell. if your not the owner and your dell is like mine, when you turn the laptop on it the first name of the owner. example: cristas computer. when you call dell give them your express code and when they ask who you purchased the laptop from just say i purchased it. when they ask your name give them the name on the screen and make up a last name. then say your mother or who ever did all the registering stuff so you dont know what name she used.
thats all i did and they gave me the bios pass. and the hd pass. now my only problem is getting into windows itself. tried safe mode stil wants pass. please HELP!!!

Can you help me?
I have 1 Dell D410 service tag: 1TSXF1S-595B with administrator password.
Have it from my brother.
Many thanks

I know that's a joke, but I don't think you should threaten others.
(Please don't reply back with any response from this - just continue on)

feel free to discuss on a technical level here.
but please exchange emails to continue your dispute. this is not the right place for it!

thanks!

Dell lattitude D420 admin pwd problem

I know this has been in plenty of Forums before (there appears to be 100’s of threads on this topic) and I understand the nature and sensitivity of asking these questions. Laptops and other merchandise are stolen on a regular basis that’s a fact of life. I am sure there are various unscrupulous people out there. But there are various other means of obtaining 2nd hand equipment primarily through EBay, auctions and various stores that specialise in used goods. In my case I obtained a 2nd hand Latitude D420 from a reputable 2nd hand store. (I can produce a receipt if need be) Through their naivety or ignorance they do not check every aspect of each piece of equipment they purchase. My problem is that the ADMIN password is set not the system or HDD password just the Admin and I would like to remove it. I have gone through the usual channels and explained my case to Dell and though they have no issues with this they will not disclose a master password unless I can prove whom the previous owners were. Naturally this is a problem, as I don’t know this. I can supply the service tag and various other information to Dell but to no avail. I went to the store I purchased it from and they shrugged their shoulders and don’t know either. I have told them I will be pursuing a case for a refund if this cannot be removed. But I am up against time as they are reluctant to refund me and tell me to get this resolved ASAP. I suppose in my case it is a case of buyer beware. I don’t have an issue paying for this so if anyone can help in the reset of the ADMIN password on my Model PP9S DELL D420 it would be appreciated.

have you tried the dst-cd? changing or deleting the service tag also removes the bios admin / configuration password. not sure if it works on a x20 but its worth a try! search for it in the forum or in my posts - I did explain the procedure alot of times here.
and please post back with the result!
