Heres an interesting link, I'm awaiting a response
Yes I'll admit, I was once like all of you, poor defenseless password seekers, but I overcame and got my laptop unlocked in two days, FREE OF CHARGE. Just trying to give you guys some advise, so that you don't run into the brickwall of dell customer support. Just trying to direct you to the best possible way to unlock your machines, hardrives and transfer warranties hassle-free, invoice-free, and free-of-charge. Beyond this I understand that some people are willing to pay if all other methods do not work. Trust me guys, i'm not that stupid, and I searched all over the internet. From what I know not all models work with the shorting method, 595b service tags do not have a current password generator, only d35b, there does exist a service of under 100 to unlock the bios gauranteed (no HD unlocking-you would have to purchase a new one if it is locked), BUT the best method is to do it through the dell website!!!!!!! I did it, and it took me two days. I can help you here, since its free of charge, and it took me two DAYS - no faxed invoice, or begging customer support. One of the dell tech guys told me of this backdoor to quickly transfer ownership, and beyond all of this. If dell doesn't work, then the only method would be shorting and costly method$. All I can offer is guidance, you make the decisions.kimsland said:Why can't you post those words here
Is this a pay for service ?
Here's an older post by you:

wooooody said:Hey dbpk,
as opposed to................
someone with a stolen machine can contact you, pay you a fee and you will then help them unlock the stolen machine?
Lets get real dbpk, stolen laptops exist, will continue to exist, have existed. Some people may unknowingly purchase one, from lets say ebay, a friend, you, me, my mother, etc... The point here is that they need to be unlocked. People who don't steal, but have in their possession a stolen machine can try to do it through dell as I did. Unfortunately my machine was stolen, but NOT by me. And the truth is I was able to transfer it to "another" name so that it may be unlocked. It's not nonsense if you have half a brain. It's called using your brain. This alternative exists, and yes I was lucky that noone called dell to report it stolen. But really lets say they steal your ipod, do you call apple to let them know? Get real people. Try this, and if it doesn't work then yes, there are services that will unlock it for a fee, looks like dbpk knows this too well, he even promotes it freely on the forum. Contact me guys, I would be glad to help you as I know the feeling of having worthless peice of plastic in front of my face.dbpk said:so According to what you wrote above , any one with stolen machine can contact dell inc support and ...easly can retrive Master password!!! excuse me that seems none sens, if you were lucky....i dont think must work with another!.
no offence,,i have nothing against you but only about what you wrote.
