Dell D600 HDD Password Problem

My name is Nguyen Tu Vuong.

I have a Dell laptop. Model is Dell Latitude D600.

In last week morning, when i open it, the screen display:

"Dell Inc.
Dell website address

Hard-disk #***********-595B (11 * digits), the system Primary HDD, is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access days on this hard drive without the correct password.

Please type in the hard-drive password
And press <Enter>."

This is the first time i get that problem and I do not know password to open my computer.

I have searched on internet, and hundreds of Dell user are same to me.

On Ebay, there are some people SELL the password to open Dell laptop which have the problem like my laptop. I bought a 2$ password but it can not help me open the computer.

I know you as a professor in Computing, So, i contact to you and ask a favor form you to help me fix this problem. My computer System Number is #99P3C1S-595B. Help me please.

DELL Inspiron 1720 bios password reset?

Hi, I need the master password for the bios for this below machine. When I turn it on I am presented with this grey screen asking for password. I can't get in to the bios or boot Windows or anything. It will not boot from CD or USB either as they are not set as boot devices before the hard drive. I have tried removing the cmos battery for 12 hours and I am still presented with the grey screen. I thought I could force it to boot from the cd or usb that way but it didn't go past grey screen. Please help. Thanks

He will have to call DELL and deal with the ridiculous service and wait times I bet.

And all the other combiination possibilities?
Anyway, who told you? Can you ask them if they remember the correct code they entered?

Find the person who wrote the note, on your laptop!

I did have a good look for a free method for you hannibal2006
But on all forums I went on (including the best one TechSpot )
It seemed no one could remove it (one user did manage to update the bios, but still the password was there)

You may want to search elsewhere for a non free alternative

I hope that i can get a HDD password from you or your friends because you have been given password for others member.

But you give me an ID chip and told me try to find it. It is hard for me because this is LAPTOP, and i HAVE NEVER OPERATORED a cell phone or LAPTOP, so i do not know how to find that chip.

i have read the Paper Clip and "surprise" because i must crash all this laptop to find the chip. It is so hard for me or i can not do it becuse i do not know anything about computer.

I think you do not want to help me.
