HP Compaq nx9010 hashcode 05858

Hi all,

My bios is locked with a password and I don't know it, I tried every tips I found on the net (remove battery, etc ... ) but nothing worked.
The hashcode is 05858 , I need to upgrade the bios , please help

Thanks

I have a dell 5150 laptop which died last week and I really need to get some of the data off it.
I have tried putting the drive in a usb drive caddy but windows on my new laptop just tells me to insert a disk in the drive.
I have a vague memory of setting the hard disk drivelock password about 4 years ago and cant remember it for the life in me. I have put the drive in an old HP and sure enough it is asking me for a drivelock password.
The Drivelock Master ID is 44872223. Any chance someone could tell me the password from that like hpgl did for rxed in November

Hi I have the same problem as Rxed.
I set the drivelock password years ago and cant remember.
The drivelock master id is 44872223
hitachi drive on a dell laptop, can you come to the rescue again hpgl ?

Inspiron 8200 bios setup password needed

Rustam_

Are you still the sweet man who provides unlock password? I am attractive blonde in need of an unlock password. My jerk Ex got his hands on my laptop, and must have set a password. Another friend, while trying to repartition, discovered the password in BIOS.

This is a dell inspiron 8200, service tag 7GSGQ11-595B

I hope you like my story and can help this Cutie ;-)

Thanks much - my appreciation to whoever can help.

If you want to pay someone, go try eBay or Google this
Or post on another tech forum that doesn't care as much
TechSpot is not interested in paid services on the forums

I would like to re-state to all New members, that there are FREE alternatives, than paying high costs.

Before deciding to accept any message on how you can pay to receive your passwords:
1. Read this entire thread (you are currently on) On many laptops, the passwords can be freely removed
2. Dell will supply you a password for under $40 only
3. Shop around. There are many pay for services out there, quite a few at eBay, and basically a Google search will find hundreds!

You have been informed

Also read my last post h e r e on free alternatives :)

help password please

could use an unlock please for #6SDPX91-595B, or maybe someone could point me to some pics of a inspiron 630m to attempt the paperclip method.
Much appreciated

hey everyone just joined this forum:D

was lookin for help with my D531, i need to get into the bios and its password protected i was given this as a present from a friend who has forgotten the password :(

i was readin through the posts in the Jan-Mar 2008 section and noticed a post by Paragon33 he said this:

"The D531 uses a 25 series EEProm Chip and can not be cleared by eeprom shorting. You need a guy with a Master Password generator for the 595B systems and they all charge fees, except for rustam, who uses this forum for free help, but not often, and not for very recent systems."
i have already tried shorting the EEPROM with no results as Paragon33 has said, does anybody know how to get in contact with this Rustam guy??

e.g. like an email address or contact?

any help would be good

thank you

Ive posted a few times but dont seem to get many replys. If someone - even Paragon33 - can tell me which 25 series eeprom it is would really help. Im not planning on shorting it but replacing it if I can track one down.

I received a Dell Lattitude D630 which surprisingly has an Administrator password and need for it to be removed. I tried method posted here and abroad but info was rather old and closed threads. I understand there is a MasterPasswordRemover and only found software that doesn't work for the D630 595b service tag. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction i am not afraid to explode the laptop to acces any chips. Thank you. I will post the service tag number sortly as I am away from home right now.

A continuation of my last post, my service tag #1955DG1-595B.

How do I locate the eeprom chip on my Dell Inspiron?

I had recently bought a Dell E1705 Inspiron with a BIOS password. I called Dell and they asked if the laptop registration was every changed over to you and I said that I purchased this through my local craigslist and have tried numerous times to get a hold of this person with no luck. Dell told me that they are sorry and that there is nothing that can be done to fix this. I really need help because this was a fairly expensive purchase and I have NO WAY to use this until I can get a master password or to clear the password. I have taken the laptop apart and I was going to go through the route of shorting/grounding out the eeprom chip but I cannot figure out which chip is the right one :( I have about 20 pics of the board if someone needs them) there are about 8 chips that resemble what the eeprom chip looks like from the pics that I have found on Google.

Any suggestions?

Please help! I really need this to work.

yes, a friend who was just been trained as a technician play with the system and passworded it. now cant remember what the password was... your help will be appreciative

@ Tedster please inform Admin here, if you believe this thread is against TechSpot ;)
@ Tmagic650 yes obviously, or they just don't know. That's the point of the thread strangely  Your post just causes others to reply with "Yes". and bumps the thread too.

If either of you can help please do, otherwise don't create anymore unneeded posts to this long thread

For all other "authentic" posts wanting free help, please read this thread (even the older ones) in full. If I had this issue I would read the whole thread.

thank you all. Tmagic650 and Kimsland, i have read the thread and saw most that was resolved, but i have not got mine resolved and i think with help of others in TS forum this can be solved, for those of others were solved. so please anyone who want to render help let them do. My service tag is #68ZFRG1-595B

I'm all for anyone freely helping
Reading the thread you will see this many times.

I hope if someone has the means to just freely provide the password to you, or anyone previously, or no doubt the many more from today onwards.

It would be nice if the "someone" (who can freely help) just gets into the xmas spirit and provide passwords to all these desperate members (I say desperate only due to continually cleaning up this thread (and elsewhere, only to do with this issue)

This thread, has caused more issues than any other part to TS, and continues to do so. I have never been able to distinguish the authentic posts (not saying that you or or specifically any others are not authentic) from the bad member's posts (even being first timers, or members here for years!) If all these "bad" members were allowed to be banned by me (most are known) I would do it on the spot. And then at last help others freely.

I don't believe this thread has any chance of that happening though, and therefore there's not much use, except to repeat the past posts, and continually tidy the thread up.

I wish everyone, best of hope in recovering their password of their personally owned laptops. How annoying it would be to be in this position. Please try all methods discussed in this thread. And note Dell has helped others, when they have initially said no. Usually by lots of pestering. Actually please refer them to this thread. I have.
