I have ddr 1 1gb ram and two 256 mb ram for my computer can i apply all of them to my pc?Intel pendium 4 CPU 2.99Ghz
if a ram doesn't suit the computer will it cause to spoile or any others thing

Now don't take this as the ultimate fact but as long as the motherboard is compatible with DDR1 it shouldn't be aproblem. Anothing worth mentioning is the speed of the RAM-sticks. For instance, if the 256mb has a speed of 266 MHz and the 1Gb has a speed of 800 MHz it will still only run at 266 MHz, all three of them.

But as I said, if you're not in a world of hurry to get that 1Gb into your cmoputer just wait until somebody more experienced gives you an answer. I'd say I'm right but god knows I've never owned a Pentium :p

Check your motherboard specs to see if your RAM is compatible or not. If it is, then put it in. In case it causes any instability, try using only the 1GB stick and pull out the 2 256MB ones. See if that solves the issue.
