Intel shows the Arc A770 beating the RTX 3060 in ray tracing benchmarks

We'll see. No YouTube site is 100% accurate in its reporting but Tom at Moore's Law is Dead has a very good track record. If you guys knew that then you would not be so quick to hop on the denial wagon. But we shall see ... 😉
History is the best teacher... Oh, yes..

He wasn't just "not 100% accurate", he's making it up. There were no facts behind anything, it was literally heresy from supposed Intel employees in an office with absolutely no evidence.

The fact you're gullible enough to just believe it and accept it as fact is weird to me. The logic just isn't there. They've released a single GPU, which is the lowest model, Drivers are clearly an issue and they haven't released anything else.

Why would you want to cancel them for that? Makes absolutely no sense. Why would you be actively trying to stop more competition in a market dominated by Nvidia?

This is not a competition of some sort, in case you never learned that, so stop acting like an over-excited fan boy. Do you even know what "heresy" is or were you thinking of "hearsay"? Dollars and cents is all that Intel plays the game for and if they figure they will never catch up to AMD and Nvidia, and thus never have enough sales to recoup their investment, they will kill the project in an instant.

"Why would you be actively trying to stop more competition in a market dominated by Nvidia?"

You are either very young or very naive if you think someone like me informing people that an insightful person is convinced Intel will pull the plug on Arc and Battlemage is going to make any difference whatsoever to the outcome of this. I have no ulterior motives and no influence whatsoever. Period. I simply find it interesting to see what the really informed people like Tom at MLiD have to say on the issue. If that is too upsetting for you to contemplate then don't read what gets posted.
