Just got a new card (Radeon HD 4650 1GB) but was it a mistake?

I don't know much about video card and some tech guy at Bestbuy told me to get a recommend card without checking the old card i currently own and he basically just told me its 10x better than my old one.

Did I make a mistake by upgrading to this new card?

After reading up a lot, it's difficult to come to a conclusion. The performance improvement wouldn't be too noticeable in my opinion. It wasn't the best upgrade option for you.

In my humble opinion, these cards are very similar, i would however class it as a slight downgrade sorry.

well I brought my PC in just to have my ram upgrade, but he talked me into upgrading my video card instead :/

Now I'm still stuck with 1 gig of ram. Should i just get my ram upgrade to 2 or 4 instead? since that's the area that improve MMO performance where 40 vs 40 players on screen for the game call Warhammer online right? and thanks guys for the replies!

yeah i would just take it back and get the ram atleast 2Gb worth
