Kaser Storage Vault Problem?

Whenever I plug in my storage vault, nothing happends! It seems to be working but I never get any confirmation on my pc ? Is that normal ? Also, how do I go about saving stuff on it ? I am really new at this and feel really stupid but obviously I forgot one step somewhere... help !!!

Please give us a little hardware infomation. What kind of computer is it? Model? Serial number? Operating System?

Is the Kaser Storage Vault seen in My Computer? Is it new? Has it ever worked?

I also have the same problem with a new 250gb Kaser Storage Vault. My Dell Inperion 600m with XP does not recognize the drive, It humms when turned on and the enclosed Regen software is installed. I have McFee which detected a Trojan and eliminated it when I was installing.....perhaps the HD driver? Any suggestions?

My problem is also along the same lines, I had my 160 gb vault working all of the school year, suddenly it stops recognizing on my computer, sounds as if its on, power chord is working, but it does not connect.

I once did however connect it to my PC after using it on my macbook pro the entire year, and after not recognizing it on my PC it has not worked since, I have a lot of information on here and it would be a huge disaster if these files weren't recovered.

any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Macbook pro, 120 gb, running on an osx, but i do not see what the serial number of my laptop has to do with the problem.

Kaser Storage Vault problems

I have never been able to resolve my Kaser Storage Vault problem. Kaser does not respond to phone or e-mails.

I have a Dell laptop INSPIRON 600m with Windows XP home ...it will not run on my daughters Acer laptop either.

Our Jumbo Drive V0 and V1 work with USB 1.1.
However, our models Jumbo Drive V2 and Jumbo Drive Xtra only work with USB 2.0
