Laptop Being Bold

Hi this is my first time using this so if im not in the right section, my bad.

Laptop: HP Pavillion dv6000

Issue: As soon as I turn it on, it shuts off, then turns back , then off. Does this repeately till the battery dies.

If it has the problem of an nVidia video chip overheating your laptop has likely reached the end of the line. As these chips are soldered onto the motherboard it's not an easy fault to correct. It's a widespread and well documented problem requiring more than a cleanup and reapplication of heat paste Think back and see if you can remember anything that happened before the laptop failed to boot which might point to a more hopeful diagnosis. Has it ever been cleaned out? "Laptop" is a misleading description because they really need to be used on a hard surface.to avoid accumulating fluff and dust inside.

Remove the battery and try using the AC adapter only
