I have a Dell Inspiron N4010

I was playing a game, and talking on skype, which I've done many times. First the game crashes which didn't surprise me since the server was laggy, but then skype crashes, and my call goes off. The entire laptop froze, cursor stuck, no keys work, nothing. I wait a few minutes then when nothing works I did the hold power to turn off. I first thought it was windows being windows. I turn it back on to see the usual command prompt -esque window with the normal boot text, but then at the bottom I something that horrified me:
Operating system not found.
I turned the laptop off when nothing works, tried going to boot options but froze there, then when I reboot the laptop a few times to see the error, the 5th or so reboot it starts windows, 7 home premium, and is so far working fine. I ran Malware Bytes and not a single threat is found. Any ideas?
