Laptop keyboard just isn't right

okay folks...my ex calls me up tonite and says that when she types on her keyboard the T's are 6's & the A's are 9's or something like that...not all keys are wrong though...mouse works fine. she thinks a child might've been playing with it but I don't know...don't ask me what kind of laptop it is...never saw it...told her to run her v scans,try going into windows accessabilty and checking it out,reboot,shake upsidedown for crumbs etc....any suggestions? thanks...paul

try changing the language settings to U.k if not already, or if you don't live in U.K whatever country you do live in
