Leak suggests the RTX 4060 will have 8GB of VRAM and fewer CUDA cores than RTX 3060

How many are running SLI?
That's kind of stupid to run SLI or Crossfire at this point in time. If developers are not taking the time to implement mGPU in the games, then a multi card setup is absolutely pointless. DX11 and under required Nvidia and AMD to create drivers that supported SLI/Crossfire. DX12 it has to be handled by the developer to allow multiple GPU and very few games are designed that way.

AMD and Nvidia no longer support multi GPU configurations so even if any games that come out that are built off DX11 or older, you won't get SLI/Crossfire support for those games in drivers.

Anyone running SLI/Crossfire these days are not statistically important since it's no longer supported.

I paid $250ish for my GTX 1060 6GB when it came out. It was a vast improvement over my old 660Ti before it. Nvidia has me scratching my head. Why would they seemingly neuter the RTX 4060 in terms of specs versus the previous RTX 3060? Each generation of card should be better than the last. It makes me wonder what the heck to upgrade to from my 1060 at this point.
