I am trying to identify a M\B with the chipset (AGP PRO H.T. 82C598AT) I need the Bios string as well.

The are literally hundreds of motherboads out there using that chipset..
I think we need the BIOS string at least.
Usually you can find some identification printed on the PCB or on some sticker too.

Go to www.lavalys.com and D/L the free Everest Home Edition.
This should be able to tell you all those things.

Another program similar to Everest. although less detailed is does list all installed service packs & patches installed. Info is output to HTML document.
