MS Malicious Software Removal Tool

Hi,
Download the above (v. 5.76 32-bit) for my old XP, but upon install it tells me the app is not a valid Win32 and stops.
Any idea how to get a working install file?

I moved it because the Virus and Malware Removal forum is only for actually removing infections from your computer. You wanted information regarding software. Not the same thing.
