My computer gets a blue error when I try to login and shuts off

i had a problem with my computer a while ago and a friend of mine fixed it and everything seemed to be fine then it started to happen again my computer will shut off and get a blue error screen and then when i try to login or do a system restore it will get the blue screen i think its something why my memory just seeing if anyone had an idea if i can get it fixed
