New Laptop Purchase

I'm looking to buy a new powerful laptop for Engineering course at University but I also want to be able to play games like starcraft 2

the one i was looking at is the HP Envy 15 serires with:

1. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-720QM Quad Core processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz

4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)

320GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection

1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5830 Graphics

for about $1900
but i wondering if i should op for the i7 820QM with 8MB L3 Cache and a Turbo boost of 3.06GHZ

Performance difference between these two is 10% +/- whereas the price difference is something like 55%. I think that should help you in making the right decision.Also, have a look at this review.
