I've been using Acer laptop Aspire 5053. I needed to re-install windows xp yesterday as there was problem with the windows xp installed in my laptop and couldn't repaired.(Presently two windows xp operating systems are available in my laptop one in C drive which was not working and one in D drive which was installed yesterday and working fine). But after successfully installed windows xp, i found that problem in audio device. Presently it is showing as "No audio device found" in control panel -> Sound and audiodevice properties.

Pls. suggest me how to get audio back in my laptop. Also pls. suggest me how to delete the windows xp installed in my C drive. Is there anyway to move the softwares installed in old windows xp to the new windows xp operating system?

Regards,
Vijayakrishna

You have 2 operating systems installed on your laptop, you are wasting valuable hard drive space... Go to the Acer support website and download the audio driver for your Acers model
