Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Review: Availability is not guaranteed

Not really, getting a 3090 to get 90 fps on ultra is stupid. Enabling Raytracing on the 3050 would be the most pointless flex ever.
I have pretty much said the same thing, none of these RTX gpus are capable of truly running ray tracing as intended and it seems that they are at least a couple more generations away.

Besides that, I have seen very, very few samples where RT has made such a difference that you must have it.

But man, nvidia marketing team has done one heck of a job in creating drones that repeat the same thing over and over.

raytracing is still not there yet it kills your speed so much you would have to be a masochist to use it
that’s just not true is it. I live with people who own RTX cards and I’ve seen what happens when they turn RT on, they all get over 60fps in any game with the hardware they have. I’m jealous!

Of course they don’t have a 3050. I don’t think a 3050 would be a good RT card but both AMD and Nvidia have advertised it. They should be called out by Techspot and other reviewers.

The RTX 3050 (basic non-OC) versions are selling for about 330-350 USD in the Czech Republic. This price is actually insanely good considering the prices of other GPUs are marked up a lot higher. Same goes for used cards, used GTX 1660 Super selling for more than 400 USD while being slower than the new RTX. Some people even still buying used GTX 1060 6GB for around 300 USD. I am considering buying one and selling my old GTX 1060... basically an upgrade for a new card, new technology and actually a lot more powerful too and just for about 50 USD. Getting rid of the old 1060 at this point, while there are buyers for it at this price is not a bad idea at all.

anybody who pays over a $1000 on a graphics card to get such low FPS cares more about bling than gameplay, it's just silly.
