Not wanting to be outdone by AMD's driver release yesterday, Nvidia has launched a new set of GeForce graphics card drivers that are 'Game Ready' for No Man's Sky and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, among other titles.

No Man's Sky was released late last week to mixed reviews, particularly for the PC version which is currently plagued with technical issues. This new driver won't resolve some fundamental performance issues with the game, but it does support SLI. You'll also get SLI support and optimizations for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which will be released next week on August 23rd.

The GeForce 372.54 drivers are also Game Ready for F1 2016, virtual reality game Obduction, and the Paragon open beta. These drivers introduce support for Nvidia's GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060 for laptops as well.

As always you can download the new Nvidia drivers through GeForce Experience automatically, or you can grab a manual installer from our driver download section here.

These drivers just made no mans sky even more unplayable... the hitching is worse than ever. I cant even turn around now without at least two or three pauses and these drivers have done nothing to improve frame rates.

So...they're patching their driver... for a game that's not even out yet (Deus Ex). Not sure if that's because the developers were purposefully keeping them in the loop while excluding AMD (note that AMD's drivers last week supported NMS but had no update for Deus Ex), or because nVidia was "integrally" involved in the development of the game (read that as "money changed hands", doesn't really matter which way the money went), but either way I'm going to guess that we'll end up seeing nVidia "somehow" benching better than AMD in Deus Ex when it does come out...

Before the driver I had a stable 72fps in No Man's Sky, but after installing the driver I'm currently getting a stable 144fps with it sometimes dipping into the 120's. However, there are some stuttering issues when the game is launched but so far that is the only issue. I'm just happy Hello Games and nVidia are working hard to make No Man's Sky a more enjoyable experience.

Both mankind divided and human revolution are AMD sponsored.

They're going to blow nvidia out of the water anyway, driver or else seeing as their DX12 support is much better.

Yea the driver is amazing nVidia bestest company. My fps on my 750Ti for NMS went fro 62 fps stable to 212 fps sometimes dips to 190s.
