PC freezing after being idle, missing driver space

I'm having two problem with my PC, which could be related. unfortunately, I'm not very tech-savvy, and what I've found online so far has not been very helpful.

problem one is the biggest. after about 8-10 minutes of being idle, my PC freezes and then gets a blue screen. there are no noticable problems while it's active.

problem two is that I seem to be missing about 20 gigs from my C: drive. it is partitioned to have 49 gigs of space, which is now about full, but so far as I can trace it by checking the properties of all the folders (incuding the normally hidden ones) I only seem to have about 25 gigs filled.

so far I've only checked my C drive using the windows error checker tool, but that did not work. it started the error-checking process but stayed at 0 files checked for about 20 minutes before I reset.

I've attached a report from everest.
Thank you for reading, and taking the time to respond
