Hi,
I recetnly got some new components for my poc over christmas.

Specs:
Gigabyte ga-ep43-ds3
Nvidia 260 Gtx
2 gig geil ram
Intel Q6600
X-Fi extreme music

I made a clean win xp pro install and installed my drivers. (mobo, video, audio and mouse)
And installed 2 games. After about an hour of gameplay (ingame or not) the pc freezes with looping audio.

I was experiencing freezing and crashing with my last build but with all parts replaced i thought it should be fine now.

I believe it may have something to do with my audio drivers but its just a hunch, ive updated all drivers too.

Just ask for any other information.

You haven't listed a new hard drive or power supply in your list.

What power supply do you have? How old is it? Same question for the hard drive(s)?

Sorry yes.

I have replaced the PCU with an ocz 600w, no difference.

The harddrive is a samsung spinpoint p120 250g and its the only remaining original part in the pc. I have run numerous checks and tests on it overnight and its seems fine. I believe this to be a software problem. (btw my temps are fine)

Just an update. Im noticing at time of crash its a bluescreen for a second.

The error message reads: irql_not_less_or_equal and some other information.

Any Ideas?

EDIT: While playing GTA 4 it crashed again this time the message was BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER.

Hmmmm

I removed my sound card and wiped the drivers, then reinstalled.
I ran memtest on my ram and its fine.
The pc is still freezing, anything else i can try ?.
