I recently downloaded a file from www.am-soft.ru/aviedit.html. When I ran it a big error came up on my virus software - It kept listing a never-ending chain of files that were infected by a viru. The whole system crashed as a result and I had to restart. So I restarted in safe mode, and ran my virus checker, spybot, adware SE and hijack this (all latest updates included). Strangly, none of them showed up any errors at all.
When I rebooted, one thing did come up on my firewall - "a change has been made to unicows.dll"
Do you think this is anything to worry about? And are there any other programs that detect certain viruses.
Any help much appreciated...
