problem opening files

im having problems opening any file that i have on my pc, it says this error message when i try and open somthing - the NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction CS:0717 IP:0100 OP:ff e0 00 Choose 'close' to terminate. what does this mean

im now having problems accessing the network drive
