hey guys, pretty much my video driver is installed correctly for my laptop just when i have it enabled i cannot access normal windows unless i go to safe mode and uninstall or disable it. I tried re installing many new drivers and only one worked but for like 10 minuetes..after it worked i went to youtube to watch a video, had to install flash player 10 and was halfway thru the video when the screen froze. pc restarted and my screen was back to being split in half. Anyone have any suggestions to help?

Ah sorry forgot to add that XD My laptop is the Pavilion dv9700 and the graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS

I suggest that you format your hard disk. After installing a fresh OS download the latest nVidia driver from the net and install it. See whether the problem persists.

uninstall all of them with revo uninstaller, then install the proper ones?
Where did you get all these drivers?

Meh but a format would be 10x easier.

k ill try a format and OS reinstall..though i did use a system restore disc when the problem first started and that didnt fix it..
