Problems with Nexus PowerSupply

Hi!

I just bought a Nexus 500W (NX-5000) PowerSupply to my new computer and now when i try to start the computer the powersupply just "beeps" or something....anyway it's a very anoying sound and after it has been running for 10sec it just shuts down...

Is there something I can do or is it just a Warrenty thing?

You are hearing Beep codes. Look at my signature for the beep code link and go there. Find what kind of BIOS your motherboard is using by either Googling your motherboard or looking at the BIOS chip on the motherboard. The motherboards name should also be written on the motherboard (Usually bigger white font) if you don't know what its called. Anyway when you find what BIOS it uses, Award, Phenox, ect. Go to the link and scroll to the right BIOS version then find the "Beep code" most similar to your own experience.

It's not a beep code....it's a high pitch whine that comes from the power supply!
I can also start the power supply without the motherboard and even then the high pitch noise comes
