Hello and welcome to Techspot.

You`ll probably need to install Vista specific drivers for your video card from HERE. You should uninstall your current video drivers first.

hi guys

thanks fgor the replies, before there was a reponse to this thread, i tried to install the windows xp display drivers to get the 3d card working....and what do ya kno it did!!!

then i came and saw the links to the drivers for Vista on here and i installed that one, now it did replace the old driver with one that was dated 2007, so obviously it installed fine, but once it completed its restart, for some reason the computer cleared all display drivers and i was left with no graphics hardware acceleration at all!!

is this a problem with the new drivers or my computer?? I did try and uninstall all display drivers and install just the vista ones to avoid conflicts, but it didnt work....

so for now im running xp display drivers on Vista :(

any ideas??

Problem isn't the drivers - unless you have a bad download of the installer - runs fine for me with a 9800 Pro.
