Realtek High Definition Audio

  1. I was recording some music using a 1/4 to 1/8 inch converter in my mic jack. When I pulled the converter out of the jack, my computer made an extremely loud, continuous beep. I had to restart in safe mode to get it to stop. I disabled realtek high definition audio and restarted my computer normally, and the sound was gone, but I can't get sound without realtek working. Does anyone know how to fix my problem?

you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers through your device manager.
