Regedit and ctrl+alt+delete not working ~ HJT Log included.

Hey, went on my PC couple of days ago and tried to end some apps via ctrl+alt+delete but as soon as I opened it it would freeze for a split second then close on me.

The exact same thing happens with regedit.


They both work in safe mode.

Go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.

Post a fresh HJT log as an attachment into this thread, only after doing the above.

I would rather reformat my PC than go through all that freeware downloading and steps.



That log is fresh as it gets (the one you deleted)

I was in safe mode and ran various anti-virus's (updated-yes)



Yes I know I have begin2 and yes I am in seek of an easier alternative to download 50,000 antivirus tools and running them in sequence.

If you don`t want to follow the instructions, that`s fine.

A reformat would certainly get rid of the nasties.

At the end of the day, it`s upto you.
