Sata to ide converter

Hi Anyone,

Recently I bought a sata-ide converter since I have a SATA cdrom with my mother board only supports ide connection. My Pc runs in WinXP OS but when rebooting the pc it could not detect the SATA cdrom.
I have checked the ide ports whereby it work fine if ide hardisk connected & when the converter (SATA-IDE) connected replaced with the SATA CDROM , I only noticed green led indication on the SATA-IDE board whereby I can also open or close the CDROM tray but basically it is not detecting SATA CDROM.
I'm using MSI K7T Turbo & hope someone can help me to solve this issues.

Thanks & Regards,
Hamesh.V
