Every time I try and run The Sims 2 it says:

"Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a direct X9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate."

My first attachment is my system information and my second attachment is my display information about my device, drivers, and directx.

I do have directx 9.0c

I've been looking all over the internet to download updates but they all cost money.

I'd appreciat your help I hope I gave you all the info you need...
Thanks. Ash

Second post on same subject.
What video graphics do you have that is so old that you have to pay for the driver downloads.
Usually, you find them at the website of the manufacturer of the video graphics unless the company has gone out of business.

The problem, kpo6969, is that the Drivers will not install... and most likely because there is not enough memory in the machine.
