Sony has announced intentions to close its homegrown Music Unlimited service. The company isn't getting out of the streaming music business, however, as it plans to launch a new service in its place known as PlayStation Music.

Sony has or had it's own streaming music service? That's news to me but it makes sense as it seems there's hardly a company nowadays that doesn't offer this kind of service, it's just that I'm not interested in this kind of thing so I pay no attention to it.

I had Music Unlimited for a year at a cost of $12 total. $1 per month and I wouldn't of even cared to renew it at that price. Good riddance.
