Vital info before I proceed:
Laptop, Advent, Mobile AMD Sempron Three-thousand
Using ATI Radeon Xpress 200M chip with built in Realtech AC97 Audio.
I have a problem with my sound, obviously. After about thirty minutes or so after turning the laptop on my sound dies inexplicably. It comes back if I leave my laptop off for a few minutes and turn it back on but once again dies after that half hour.
I've looked in my device manager and the System Information windows and they both say my sound driver is working just fine. I still have full control over my volume functions, the codecs are working as they should and everything is telling me that the sound is a-ok. But obviously it isn't.
There's no problem with the speakers themselves as far as I can tell {They're built into the laptop}, considering they work for half an hour, but it's just the fact the thing dies after a while. Can anyone point me the way to fixing this?
And I've checked my BIOS, it tells me the sound device is on too.
