Spotify has offered Family Plans for some time now, but today the company is sweetening the deal while matching rival music streaming services from Apple and Google. The company has announced it is now allowing up to up to six listeners (they don’t really need to be family) to grab a Premium subscription for $15 a month.

Previously, Spotify charged $14.99 for two listeners and up to $29.99 for a family of five. The new pricing structure is rolling out globally starting today, except in Canada for some reason. Current Spotify family plan subscribers will automatically get upgraded to the new plan and should see a lower bill the next time they are charged.

Spotify hit 30 million million paid subscribers back in March, up from 20 million in June 2015, and is comfortably leading the streaming music market. By matching the competition Spotify is looking to hold on that lead while making sure users won't find a better deal elsewhere.

Under the family plan every user will their own separate premium accounts and full access to Spotify's library of songs and videos. The company has also announced plans for original video content, in a direct challenge to Apple Music.
