The Best PC Monitors: For Content Creators, Productivity, Gamers, and Enthusiasts

I picked up my Lenovo Y32p-30 brand new for $490 last February straight from their site after I couldn't get an MSI OLED anywhere and I didn't want to spend $1200+. Its been a great monitor thus far.

Recently bought a 27in LG-GR83Q-B for $235 open box at microcenter.
It was hard to say no to that price.

Do you know something about the next generation of GPUs that we don't? Otherwise I'm not clear what moved you from your stance in the last gaming monitor buying guide ("we think 1440p is still the sweet spot") to going 4K this time.

Can you please update to include % of colour gambits when referring to them. It is a pretty important thing and separates ok monitors from good monitors.

I think 32 inches is way too big for a PC monitor. I had one and hated it, have to turn your head constantly just to see everything. I have a 27 inch now and it's much more comfortable to use.

Sounds like you're sitting too close. Try a monitor mount so you can adjust the distance on the fly. It was life changing for me after getting one. I will never give up the real estate of a 32" monitor for productivity. However, the 27" served me well in gaming. I have a dual desk stand waiting for the second 32" monitor.

These 32" Samsung based OLEDs are vaporware this year. You can recommend them all you want but they're out of stock or coming soon everywhere. At this point might as well wait for 2025 and DP2.1 updates.

There must be some shortage of OLED panels in general since Samsung is scamming people all over the World by using old QD panels or WOLEDs in their TVs and there is no way to tell prior to purchase. They're still using 2nd gen panels in 2024 TVs same as the 2023 TVs while they introduced 3rd gen panels for 2024. Those only made it to their top tier S95. There will be some random point in time when their 2nd gen panels run out and they'll switch to 3rd gen panels. So you could be getting a 2nd gen panel or a WOLED panel right now depending on your location. Different lottery for different markets. It's a complete mess right now thanks to Samsung. I was ready to get a QD-OLED this year but thanks for Samsung it's not happening.
